Два часа вокруг визита в клинику

Тихое кафе, ровная прогулка и лёгкая еда на два часа вокруг приёма в Каннаме.

2 часа

First things first: your clinician's own instructions always come before anything here. Depending on the procedure, sun exposure, heat, long walking or certain foods may be discouraged straight afterwards. This is a neighbourhood guide, not medical advice. If you have been told to stay out of the sun or to avoid walking, skip the outdoor option in step 2 and use the indoor alternative instead. If you feel off, cut the plan short and go back to your hotel or the clinic.

1. A quiet cafe (about 40 minutes). Gangnam's clinics cluster around Sinsa, Apgujeong Rodeo and Gangnam Station, and one block off the main road is always calmer than the main road itself. The side lanes behind Garosu-gil and the dessert shops behind Rodeo Street are the easy options. From Sinsa Station (Line 3 and Sinbundang Line), take the exit signposted for Garosu-gil; from Apgujeong Rodeo Station (Suin-Bundang Line), the exit signposted for Rodeo Street. Either way it is under a five-minute walk. Weekday mornings are quiet; weekend afternoons between roughly 2pm and 6pm are when seats disappear. Cards are standard and foreign cards usually work, but smaller cafes occasionally cannot read them, so carry some cash or a second card.

2. A flat walk (about 30 minutes). Dosan Park is a short, level loop with shade and plenty of benches, around ten minutes on foot from Apgujeong Rodeo Station. If you need to stay out of the sun, go indoors instead: Starfield Library inside COEX Mall is step-free, air-conditioned and has seating and toilets close by, with underground access from Samseong or Bongeunsa Station. If you prefer gravel paths, Seonjeongneung is quiet and flat and charges a small admission fee. Whichever you choose, break it up: walk fifteen minutes, sit, then walk again.

3. Light food (about 30 minutes). Rice porridge, soups and soft noodles are the low-effort choices. The basement food court at COEX Mall and the food halls at the department stores (Hyundai Department Store's Trade Center branch, Galleria) keep seating and toilets close together, and many counters have photo or English menus, which makes ordering simple. Spicy food, very hot food and alcohol may be discouraged after some procedures, so follow your clinician's instructions on this rather than the menu.

Leave a ten-minute buffer to get back. Not every subway exit has a lift, so if walking is uncomfortable, call a taxi through a ride-hailing app rather than surfacing at a random exit; distances in this area are short and fares stay modest. Large bags are easiest left in a station locker, and if you do any department store shopping, bring your passport, since tax refunds require it. Almost nothing here needs booking ahead, but popular cafes and restaurants on a weekend afternoon can mean a real wait.
